Forum Thread: Meterpreter Over Wan Problem!! Help Please

So here is the deal guys., i used Metasploit over lan and it was working fine af. But problem start when i give lhost my public ip address it fails to bind to it., i searched around a lot and found that I needed to forward th port., i did that., still the problem persist., i checked can you see.org it said my port was closed which was unusual as it was open in my router's settings! And i did the settings right., at this point i am thinking that my isp is blocking the ports because wen i connection directly to th internet hence eliminating the router it still says that port is closed which is absurd., at this point i am giving up on wan and carrying my test on lan and will return to wan when i change my isp., if i missed something please help a noob out. Thanks
