Forum Thread: Does Using Kali on Live USB Makes It Less Traceable Back to You?

Since I don't have my own computer, I'm planning on using Kali on Live USB. A friend of mine told me that you should have a separate computer system for hacking so that if you get hacked no personal information may be taken.

Why not set up a lab and find out for yourself?

Sorry I am still a noob about these things.

If you get hacked on your home network, makes no difference cause da H4x0r will most likely RAT all the others on the network as well. If he/she is half decent. Maybe even patch up the holes for you. ;-)

USB is untraceable in the fact its in your pocket, that's about it. Plug it in, have no clue how to use it and you are making a lot of noise... C(x2)H
